The EMTs and Paramedics of Thorne Ambulance Service are provided a unique opportunity to work in a variety of settings.  Here are a few examples of the types of services you will provide as an EMT/Paramedic with Thorne Ambulance:

 

  • 911 Responses

  • Ventilator transfers/ALS Inter-facility

  • Event Standbys (collegiate athletics, minor league hockey, concerts, etc.)

  • Non-Emergency transfers (hospital discharges, hospice transfers, etc.)

  • ALS trucks = 40% ALS / 60% BLS (average monthly volume)

  • Opportunities for advancement (as openings occur)

1) Application:

2) Interview

Candidates who are selected to interview will meet with the

Administrative Manager to interview for the open position.

 

3) Preliminary Offer & Pre-Employment Testing

Successful candidates are provided a conditional offer of employment

following the completion of the physical agility test (PAT) and drug test.

 

4) Selection:

Selected candidates will be provided an offer of employment along with

the orientation guide to assist the new team member with their transition

to Thorne Ambulance Service.
